Dr Njogu is a retired medical practitioner who worked to the level of Deputy Chief Physiotherapist at the Ministry of Health in Kenya. He spent a significant part of his working life in Europe. A farmer with some 35 years of experience, passionate and ready to make a difference, returned to Kenya about a decade ago, with a huge assortment of agricultural machinery, ready to be a Mechanization Service Provider. Julius met with the challenges of the Kenyan agricultural mechanization sector, from which he has learnt much about what needs to be done and how.
This vocal whole value-chain entrepreneur has taken on various agribusiness leadership positions and is now a Hub-Host for one of the most elaborate and upcoming Agrimech Service bases.
Dr Njogu is a family man who believes farming and agribusiness provide the ability to be a part of and make a living out of nature. That farming provides the freedom and the opportunity to serve mankind by being party and solving the challenges it throws at us. Dr Njogu’s hobbies include horse-back and motorcycle riding.
